1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing calculatecbm.com or using the CBM Calculator API, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
CalculateCBM.com provides free online shipping and volume calculators, guides, and a paid REST API for automated freight calculations. The free tools are provided for informational purposes; calculations are provided as-is without warranty of accuracy.
3. Free Tools — Disclaimer
All calculators on calculatecbm.com are provided free of charge for general information purposes. While we strive for accuracy:
- Results are estimates only and should be verified with your freight forwarder or carrier before making shipping decisions
- We are not responsible for costs or losses arising from reliance on calculator results
- Freight rates, container dimensions, and regulations can change without notice
4. API Subscriptions
Payment: API subscriptions are billed annually. Standard plan: $99/year (5,000 calls/month). Enterprise plan: $299/year (20,000 calls/month).
Refunds: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the first 14 days. If you cancel within 14 days of subscribing, you will receive a full refund.
Call limits: Unused API calls do not roll over to the following month. Exceeding your monthly limit results in a 429 response; your subscription is not automatically upgraded.
Renewal: Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You will receive a renewal reminder 30 and 7 days before expiry.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or scrape the calculators or API responses to create a competing service
- Use automated tools to scrape the website or exceed normal browsing traffic
- Use the API to resell calculation services without written permission
- Attempt to circumvent API rate limits or authentication
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
6. Intellectual Property
All content on calculatecbm.com — including text, formulas, design, code and graphics — is our property or is licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, calculatecbm.com and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service or reliance on calculation results.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
